1) Decreased Blood Pressure: This is called post-exercise hypotension (the bad one is hypertension). There is an average DECREASE in blood pressure of ~10mm Hg and this effect lasts for 24-48 hours!
2) Increased Insulin Sensitivity: This is your body's ability to control blood sugar. There is an average increase of 25%, and this effect lasts for 24 hours ... this is more effective than diabetes medication!
3) People who exercise suffer half as many heart attacks! (when compared to non exercisers)
All you need to do is 20-30 minutes of aerobic activity each day. Like taking a walk at a pace that gets your heart rate elevated but you could still carry on a conversation.
